Photography Techniques

Photography, Portraits

Working in Photoshop I was able to retouch this portraits taken by me in a studio and this are the before and after. This retouching consist in hair removal, skin softening and blemish removal also a little of eye enhancement. Other think that I was able to do is improve the lighting and exposure of the initial picture.
The objective is to enhance the natural beauty of the subject, not to change features and create a fake image of the subject.

This is another example of portrait retouching.

In this case the skin of the model was very good to start with, and I worked more the lighting and darkening the background to bring the subject forward and make the viewer focus in the subject. Other important thing is the crop factor making the subject stand out more than in the previous pictures. I really enjoy working with this project and I lean how to make my subject the focal point of an image as well as the importance of keeping the natural appearance of the subject, I wanted to enhance her natural beauty and accentuate her best features.
